Editing | Leash or No Leash

A question I have recently been receiving is why don't you edit out the leash or does the leash bother you in your photos? My answer for our account is no. I know lots of accounts that edit their leash out and I don't disagree with doing so but for us personally with our platform we want to encourage pet owners to keep their pets on a leash by means of just viewing our photos. Even with our cats microchipped I always like showcasing their harness and leash in their photos to promote safe adventuring. Some cat parents have done a great job training their pets and cats can even have recall like dogs if trained properly. I have not trained my cats to do so or to really do anything other than be more comfortable in their adventures. Cats can easily be frightened by their surroundings and don't do as well with surprises (which is fair, I don't either lol). I think dogs, even with good recall, should be on leashes especially in high trafficked areas just to ensure the safety of the dogs themselves and those around them. With cat-adventuring growing the trails are now shared with a wide variety of people and their pets. Practicing trail etiquette & safety should always be a priority, especially with more people getting outside now more than ever. As for how your photos are edited, everyone works hard on collecting content on each adventure so feel the freedom to edit how you choose. As for us we love showcasing off our gear, safety fashionistas! (Looking at my girls in their gear has made me realize it might be time to get a more stylish leash soon 🛍️🐾).
